Dark Lit Mission Statement

I work with some of the best and freshest voices in indie horror as Managing Editor of DarkLit Press, and DarkLit Sails. I want to bring out the best in every writer I work with, challenging them to consider every sentence and paragraph. I'll revise chapters with authors until both parties are happy with the result—my editing is not a one-read-through-scan—my editing is a process. which I teach as I edit, enabling the authors I work with to avoid, in subsequent work, the kind of mistakes we find, and the best ways to correct them.
It's detailed. And now I'm opening to the public.

DarkLit has always represented the under-represented, and I believe in giving back to the community. All my editing packages are available to any author, yet I also want to help undiscovered Indie Horror writers find their place in the community. How can I do both, and make the process more affordable? DarkLit: Fiction Forge is my solution.
